A project of the French Natural History Museum
COHNECS-IT is a project undertaken by the French Natural History Museum (MNHN). More precisely, the project is steered by the Natural Heritage Service (SPN), with a scientific support of the Center of Ecology and COnservation Sciences (CESCO), both institutions being part of the French Natural History Museum. This project is developed in response to a call for applications of three structures: CILB-ITTECOP-FRB (=> Read more).
Several other partner structures collaborate on the project, such as the Research Institute in Sciences and Technologies for Environment and Agriculture (Irstea) and the Center of studies and expertise on risks, environment, mobility and land planning (CEREMA).
The project is led by a Review Team, composed of a systematic review officer, ecologists, librarians and statisticians.
Moreover, the team is supported by experts and heads of institutions, in particular for publication collection, proofreading and networking. The Review Team is thus surrounded by an Advisory Board and has contacts with foreign experts and international networks, such as IENE.
COHNECS-IT started up in January 2015 and will last until spring 2016.
